Who can become a consignor?
Anyone can consign children’s or maternity items with Nearly New Fish. Just fill out our registration form. In order to attend the consignor’s only pre-sale you must have a minimum of 25 acceptable items or $100 of merchandise.
What percentage of my sales do I receive?
Consignors receive 65% of their sales less a $15 consignor’s fee. Receive 50% off the consignor’s fee. Want to earn up to 80% of your sales? Find out how.
Is there a fee?
A $15 consignor’s fee which is collected via paypal during registration. Don't have a paypal account? No problem! Just contact us and we will make other arrangements. Receive 50% off the consignor’s fee as well as other great incentives.
How are items priced?
YOU set your price and YOU decide if your items are discounted on ½ price day. We suggest 30-40% of the retail price; however, outdoor play equipment, double strollers, and other larger items can sell for up to 60% of what you paid! Prices will vary depending on the condition and demand for items. See our pricing guide for more details.
How do I sign up?
What should I expect when I drop off my items?
When you arrive, bring your items to our quality control station. As you wait for your items to be inspected, you are welcome to bring in additional items. You are welcome to use our carts; however, as a courtesy to others, please do not occupy more than 1 cart at one time. As items are inspected you will place them on the appropriate shelves and racks. We highly recommend pre-sorting your items by gender, size, category... in order to expedite this process. Also, a wagon or basket may make it easier for you to transport your items.
When do I pick up my unsold items?
If you choose not to donate unsold items, they may be picked up on Tuesday, October 18th from 10am-6pm. Any items remaining after 6pm will be donated.

When will I receive my check?
Checks will be mailed to you within two weeks after the sale.
What items can I consign?
Any infant, children’s, or teen's items are accepted. We accept clothes, shoes, furniture, strollers, bedding, toys, games, DVD’s, books, etc. ALL items must be super clean, in excellent condition, in current season and style. ALL items will be inspected before being placed on the sales floor.
Can anyone sign up as a Team Member?
Only registered consignors are eligible to sign up as Team Members to work a shift.
Can I bring a guest to a pre-sale?
Passes for the pre sale will be distributed when you drop your items off. Only one family member may shop with you. Any additonal kids, family members or friends can purchase a benefit sale ticket
Can children attend sales?
Children will not be allowed to attend the benefit sale without purchasing another ticket. Your children may attend on other days, but they must be closely supervised and remain with you at all times.
Will there be shopping baskets or carts available?
We will have blue IKEA bags available to carry your goodies. No carts are available.
Why should I promote Nearly New Fish?

Where can I find hangers?
Biglots, Wal-mart, and other retailers will have affordable prices on hangers. If you have a good relationship with your drycleaners or a retail store, they will often give them to you. Another option is www.freecyle.org which is a neat non-profit and worth checking out!
