Who can become a consignor?
Anyone can consign children’s or maternity items with Nearly New Fish. Just fill out our registration form. In order to attend the consignor’s only pre-sale you must have a minimum of 25 acceptable items or $100 of merchandise.
What percentage of my sales do I receive?
Consignors receive 65% of their sales less a $15 consignor’s fee.
Is there a fee?
A $15 consignor’s fee paid via PayPal at registration. No paypal? No problem! Please contact us to make alternate arrangements. Receive $5 back from the consignor’s fee as well as other great incentives.
How are items priced?
YOU set your price and YOU decide if your items are discounted on ½ price day. We suggest 10-40% of the retail price; however, outdoor play equipment, double strollers, and other larger items can sell for up to 60% of what you paid! Prices will vary depending on the condition and demand for items. See our pricing guide for more details.

What should I expect when I drop off my items?
Please have your items presorted by size, gender, etc.
When you arrive, please bring your items to our quality control station. If you have additional items, please feel free to bring them in as your items are being inspected. (As a courtesy to others, please do not occupy more than one cart at a time.) As items are inspected you will place them on the appropriate shelves and racks. Also, a wagon or basket may make it easier for you to transport your items.
When do I pick up my unsold items?
If you choose not to donate unsold items, they may be picked up on Tuesday, September 20th from 10am-6pm. Any items remaining after 6pm will be donated. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
When will I receive my check?
Checks will be mailed to you within two weeks after the sale.
What items can I consign?
Any infant, children’s, or teen's items are accepted. We accept clothes, shoes, furniture, strollers, bedding, toys, games, DVD’s, books, etc. ALL items must be super clean, in excellent condition, in current season and style. ALL items will be inspected before being placed on the sales floor.
Can anyone sign up as a Team Member?
You must be a registered consignor to sign up as a Team Member.
Can I bring a guest to a pre-sale?
Passes for the pre sale will be distributed when you drop your items off. Only one family member may shop with you. Any additonal kids, family members or friends can purchase a benefit sale ticket here.
Can children attend sales?
Children will not be allowed to attend the benefit sale without purchasing another ticket. Your children may attend on other days, but they must be closely supervised and remain with you at all times.
Will there be shopping bags available?
Yes! You may use one of our big blue bags to gather your deals.
Why should I promote Nearly New Fish?
The more people who shop, the more of your items will sell. Promote Nearly New Fish to sell YOUR items!! Print flyers right from our website.
Where can I find hangers?
Big Lots, Wal-mart, dollar stores... will have affordable prices on hangers. If you have a good relationship with your dry cleaners or a retail store, they will often give them to you. Social media is often an excellent means to find free hangers- you likely know someone with an abundance of hangers that will gladly pass them on to you.
